The decision to homeschool is not an easy one to say the least. No matter how much research you do , you still have the big looming question " Am I going to make my kids stupid?!"  The answer is a big NO! Think about it for a second. You teach your child on a daily basis as it is. If your child has not been to public school yet, you have been their teacher up until now..and if they have been , chances are that you are working with them after school on a regular basis. There are tons of resources on the internet and plenty of homeschooling families that have either never sent their kids to public school or have taken their kids out to homeschool them. Do your research.Make sure you are comfortable in your knowledge of the homeschooling laws. Talk to other homeschoolers. We dont all have the same homeschooling styles and philosiphies, so talk to at least a few different homeschoolers. Most of all , remember that NOBODY knows your child as well as you do.
